Porn replaced by Social Networks
It’s true. Numbers and graphs in this case are probably not lying. The only bad thing, is that a lot of porn has really reworked itself in the past few years. What am I saying? Exactly what you are thinking. Porn is just installing itself in the world of social networking.
Are these true social only networking sites, or porn social networking sites that are included in the statistics? Stats are a funny thing. If you count such sites as “Adult Friend” sites, that are based around social networks, they could technically be counted in. Since these statistics were cut off in February, it’s almost certain that social networking has passed up porn by now.
Now since porn was a $1 billion a year business in 2002, it gets me to thinking, what has changed? I think one of the main things that has killed off a lot of the industry is the SPAM industry. Porn made a big mistake by using that route of advertising. SPAM about porn is probably the biggest killer of porn.
What is going to kill off the social networking industry? Porn? Can you see a sick silly circle developing here? I’m just laying out some questions, and theories here. Nothing serious.
Technically Speaking, Social Networking has surpassed Porn and that for the moment is a good thing.

Yes My Dear Pontificating Friend, The questions is will having porn associated with your web-site help keep you in business? The answer to that questions will come in a message from supporters saying…”See ya”. I know I have lost business from porn appearing on the screen of previous sites I was associated with…hopefully this talk about pulling the plug on the internet and starting all over is really going to happen so this time around they get it right.
