magnify-newlogo.pngMagnify.net Partners with ClipSyndicate to Allow 22,000 Sites to Search and Embed Content from ABC, NBC, and CBS affiliates, Bloomberg, AP and Fox News. One of the first examples Barak Obama for President 2008” is among the first new channels to feature content from ClipSyndicate. The site is one of the 48 political sites created and managed by Policks.

Unlike typical social networks that host video and connect people, Magnify.net provides the tools and resources to discover, review, organize and broadcast themed video — regardless of where it’s hosted. Videos can be easily collected from other networks including Revver, Blip.tv, MetaCafe, and YouTube, and now news affiliates and networks, or uploaded directly. Users can fully customize their channels to reflect their personal or corporate brand as well as share ad pages through the Magnify Ad Network to also monetize traffic.

Clip Syndicate, a service of Critical Media’s Media and Publishing Services Group, will soon release its search API to other social network, news and video syndication application programmers under its standard revenue-share terms for web publishers. Magnify.net was the first company to test and deploy an application built using the new API.

With the upcoming API release, ClipSyndicate, a rapidly growing, ad-supported viral broadcast video syndication platform, will provide participating developers with a deep level of access and integration options beginning with an archive of over 200,000 broadcast video clips delivered immediately as embedded flash assets.

In partnership with more broadcast affiliate partners than any other online syndication platform, applications and widgets developed under the program will have access to feeds of over 1,000 new video news clips per day. “With the addition of video news content from ClipSyndicate to the Magnify.net Platform, our more than 21,000 channels and channel creators will have access to video licensed from major news producers internationally including Clear Channel Television, and the FOX Television Station Group, Fisher Communications, Bloomberg Television, Meredith Corporation and Agence France-Press among others.

Critical Media Inc. is a company at the forefront of real-time broadcast media capture, search, syndication and information services. This is the company that is the parent company of ClipSyndicate which is an ad-supported platform for aggregating, distributing and monetizing licensed video and audio assets in near real-time on the Web. Magnify.net has been financed by its founders, Venture Capital firm Next Stage Capital, New York Angels, and Active Angels Investors, and a group of private individuals.

Technically Speaking, Magnify.net continues to be a company that more people will be taking a look at.
