Technically Speaking

I don’t get it at all. Plurk.

It’s not something that jumps out at you and says “Ah, this would be really useful in my life!” FriendFeed was easy to understand and made total sense. This Plurk thing - not so much. I thought this Plurk thing was going to be similar to FriendFeed or twitter, but so far I don’t see the similarity at all. I see a big orange mess.

Maybe it’s me, but I have always had a few requirements for good apps, mashups, startups, etc..

1. Keep It Simple Stupid - KISS - one of the biggest rock n’ roll bands in the world, as well as the best thing to remember when you are creating anything - music, good apps, mashups, startups, etc.

2. You have 7 seconds - Maybe less to impress new people. I stared at Plurk more than once, and I still am thinking to myself — “WTF?!? and what is the F’n point?!”

3. See rules #1 and #2.

Technically Speaking, at least other people thatwho are smarter than me are having a hard time understanding it also.
