GMAFB!!!!! Dude… get real!!

Wednesday, February 14th, 2007

I mean come on. This isn’t controversy we are talking about. If a company, namely - Visto - raises $350 million over 10 years  and is still in the red. Why the heck are you investors giving the company MORE money? GMAFB! GMAFB! WTF!!!! and GMAFB/WTF!!!

This is not controversy. This is stupidity. Stupidity in being suckered in for another round of $35 million last December. What I am wondering is — “What pictures does Visto HAVE of these investors???!” Seriously! This is just poor decision making. This is bad investing. This is NOT controversy.

Technically Speaking, this has to be the most GMAFB story I have read all day. Company Visto - in the red - picks up another $35 million to add to it’s already blown $350 million. GMAFB with an exclamation point!

In bed with Microsoft? Not here!!

Sunday, February 11th, 2007

Walmart and Microsoft in bed together? Yes, this is a WTF and has been marked as such on GMAFB. Now it should be interesting to see how many people will think the same? Will it come out of the unpublished status? I guess time will tell to see if Allen and I are the only ones going WTF?!!?

Technically Speaking, Give Me A Friggin’ Break as well as the GMAFB and this blog are BIG supporters of FireFox - the more stable browser!

Technorati WTF does launch

Thursday, February 1st, 2007

Yes, as I stated last night, I figured it was a great marketing ploy. The entire blogosphere was saying “WTF, where did wtf-featured.pngTechnorati WTF go to?” Great marketing tactic.

Technically Speaking, I couldn’t have thought of a better way to market this new feature. I still am going to think of WTF as WTF, but they are going to push it out as “Where’s The Fire“.

WTF is the word of the day

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

It appears to me that even though it was talked about early on by Steve Rubel, the WTF thing would die. It has not. That’s okay that Technorati tried and pulled back. Maybe there were to many already perceived connotations that we all have pointed out about the three letters W - T - F.

Technically Speaking, all I can say is Give Me A Friggin’ Break. WTF will re-appear on Technorati. It’s a great marketing ploy, almost as good as some that I have come up with in my band past, and my current web 2.0 persona.
